Parish Council Meetings 
  • Meetings of the Parish Council are generally held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. 
  • Parish Council meetings, together with the Annual General Meeting and Annual Parish Meeting are open to any resident of the Parish of Alnmouth (including High Buston), members of the public not resident in the Parish and members of the Press to attend. 
  • There is a Public Forum at the start of each meeting when residents of the parish may a) make representations, b) answer questions or c) give evidence relating to the business to be transacted. 
  • Members of the general public from outside the parish (strangers) and members of the Press have a statutory right to attend Parish Council meetings as Observers but are not permitted to join the discussion, unless invited by the Chair to do do.

Parish Documents
The Parish Clerk keeps copies of all documents relating to the Council, dating back over many years.  Most recent documents are accessible on and can be downloaded from this website.  If you wish to look at anything which you can't find on this website, or any documents from before 2018 you will need to contact the Parish Clerk.

Archived Parish Records
Older documents are transferred to the Northumberland Archives which holds the archives for the county of Northumberland. The archives are held at Woodhorn and Berwick-upon-Tweed and run by Northumberland County Council.

Agenda, Minutes & Financial Records
All agendas, minutes are saved as .pdf files which you can view online or download to your computer or mobile device.
