Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day 2021

The Remembrance Service took place on Sunday 14th November at the War Memorial. The service commenced just before 11 o'clock led by Rev Barrie Cooper and representatives from The Village, WI, Parish Council and RAF Boulmer all of whom laid wreaths.

The Service in 2020 could not take place as a result of Covid restrictions, but since the last in 2019 event in the War Memorial has been cleaned and the Memorial celebrated its 100th anniversary. It was first dedicated in July 1921.

The WI installed a wonderful display of Poppies around the Memorial which were in place for a few days beyond the 14th November 2021.
